About Me

I possess a Diploma in Counselling, awarded at The Gestalt Centre, London. Prior to embarking on the diploma course, I completed a Certificate in Humanistic Counselling, also at The Gestalt Centre. More recently, I have also completed an MA in Gestalt Therapy.
Areas of Specialism
I have experience in working with bereavement, domestic violence, relationship issues, university student/staff counselling, Christian/spiritual counselling, along with many other issues. I also have experience of volunteering for Samaritans and working at an Employee Assistance programme (EAP).
Personal Approach
My personal approach is holistic, looking at the whole person and your environment, as I believe that nothing happens in isolation. My work is largely influenced by the Gestalt model, focussing on raising awareness and the relationship between us. In addition, I may suggest bringing creativity into our sessions.
Ethics
I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Your confidentiality will be professionally managed. I have regular supervision and am committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
